Mary Katrantzou Printed Skirts

Hi guys,
Looking through street style pictures from LFW has got my loving prints & noone does prints better than Mary Katrantzou!
They are so bright and abstract and I would love to own one of her skirts (below) by... but until then here is how I would wear them this AW!

Look 1:
This skirt would look perfect with an over sized white shirt like the one above that I found from Zara I'd match it with a chunky chain necklace under the collar so it's not so boring and then wear some chunky boots and leather bag and would be good to go! If it's freezing like here in the UK I would add some opaque black tights too!

This skirt is gorge, I love monochrome so I loved styling this outfit! Firstly, I would wear a top with a little detail like the one above to add something interesting to the outfit because the colours are so basic. I would keep jewellery fairly minimal with a watch and chain bracelet and wear some detailed ankle boots!

I think you could wear these skirts in the day and in the evening and this is how I'd wear this one...I think a sleeveless blouse would be really cute and some chunky heels with gold hardware would be perfect and then I would add either a gold detail belt like the spiked one above or some stacking bracelets!
This is one of my fave outfits, I love the printed skirt with the slogan tee shirt and the cool leather jacket! I think this would look perfect in AW with some chunky biker boots and lots of mixed rings!

Hope you like this kind of post, thanks for reading!

I've been to China!

Hi guys,
Sorry I haven't posted in a while... between my last post and now I have had the most amazing experience visiting China!
Some of you who have read my first ever blog post will know that over the summer I have been working as a design intern at Missguided. I got to go to China with some of the designers and had such an amazing experience of the country and getting to see some factories and how things work! I took some pictures on my trip so I could share them with you so here goes:

After what felt like an entire day of travelling we finally arrived at our amazing hotel and unpacked for the trip...

The first day I went to a fabric market where there were shops full of different types of fabrics and trims. There were rows and rows of swatches and samples that you can just pick up and take with you.

It was amazing to see so many different fabrics and prints and being able to think of ideas of how to use them when picking them up!

The market was HUGE as you can see from some of the above pictures there were so many floors! I got to spend a whole day there and we only managed to complete one of the floors, so you can imagine the size of the place!

After looking at fabrics we got to go to the trims market which was aaa-maaaaay-zinggg! There were things hanging on walls and pots of sequins everywhere, I was in sparkle heaven!!

The next day I got to go to a shoe fabric and trims market which was so exciting! I have never seen so many leather's and suede samples!

The trims were super exiting, you could chose heels, sandal bars, straps, zips and so many other things!

I had such an amazing trip to China and I am so greatful that I got the chance to go and would love to go again!

Well done if you managed to get this far through my post, I know it's a long one but I just wanted to share some of the pictures I had taken with you!

I also got to see a show production line and was talked through all the different stages that shoes go through while being made and go through quality checks before being boxed up and ready to be sold!

Here's a few random shots I took whilst out there:

The view from our hotel room!

What's up mr grumpy gills!?

Thanks so much if you have made it this far reading my post, sorry it's so long I just had so many pictures to show you guys!

Sorry for the picture quality, I took most of these on my iPhone!
